Transportation data are varied and complex; they come from different organizations, sensors, surveys, analysis and simulations. In order to take advantage of this morass of data, an effective means of integration of transportation data is required. Our research focuses on the use of ontologies for semantic integration and automated deduction in the transportation domain. Our current focus is on the area of Transportation Planning, driven by our work on iCity: Urban Informatics for Sustainable Metropolitan Growth.
